About the author:

Francisco Rodríguez Acatl started out as an actor; he worked with various native communities in the field of musicology, and learned his knowledge of indigenous cosmovisions and shaman ritual with the Huichole community and the Aztec tradition of Mexico. He gained his degree in sociology from the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico, and has a doctorate in philosophy from the Universidad de Barcelona, as well as a degree in psychology.  Together with Alejandro Jodorowsky and Jose Miguel Doniz he has participated in courses in psychomagic and psychogenealogy. He has trained as a past-life therapist with Jose Luis Cabouli. He teaches courses and offers therapies to heal the spirit throughout Spain and in the Americas. He has published El arte de interpretar la mano (The Art of Interpreting the Hand) and El gran libro de la lectura de la mano (The Great Book on the Reading of Palms).
