As Gandhi stated, the well-being of the individual is inseparable from the common good. Today we know that the values that contribute to social and ecological responsibility are also those that can make sense of human life and foment personal realisation.
In this book Jordi Pigem shows the need for a change in mentality and values, and sees consumerism and materialism as crucial to non-sustainability; at the same time he identifies the key values necessary to advancing toward a new horizon of personal plenitude and planetary balance. G(lobal)P(ersonal)S(ocial), as a GPS instrument, can help us to steer our course in the midst of this rapidly transforming world.
