Enneagram
Original title:
Eneagrama. Los engaños del carácter y sus antídotos
About the book:
Enneagram
The deceits of character and their antidotes
The most complete and committed book on the enneagram.
The enneagram as symbol derives from ancient Sufi teaching. Applied to the field of psychology, it distinguishes nine structures of the character, based on nine emotions which when combined with nine basic beliefs constitute the configuration of our passions. In the case of each individual, one of these passions will prevail over the rest, and will shape his or her way of feeling, way of seeing the world – in short, their personality.
This volume includes the description of the nine personality types and offers us guidelines to help us overcome the pitfalls associated with each one. Furthermore, the authors take a studied look at nine fictional characters in the works of Balzac who are representive of each one of these types.
