About the author:
Ramiro Calle is a teacher and writer on yoga, a pioneer in the introduction of this discipline into Spain. He has written many books on different subjects, mostly of a spiritual or philosophical nature, although he has also published collections of tales and travel guides. Since 1971 he has been the director of the largest yoga centre in Spain, Shadak. He has also taught at the Madrid Universidad Autónoma, and has given talks in different countries. He has travelled to Asia on many occasions, especially to India, to learn from spiritual masters. In 2003 he was awarded the V Martínez Roca Spirituality Award.
